Dear friends, lovers and loiterers
August greetings to all. It’s First Sunday again this Sunday and The LRM are continuing to visit spots suggested by each other. Last month we explored Debdale Park and a consensus emerged that this time folk wanted to return to Cheetham Hill. It’s long been a favourite environment for loiterers but its been a while since we visited together….
Let’s meet on the border, near Scotland. Find me outside the Park Inn by Radisson Manchester City Centre hotel on Cheetham Hill Road. Nearest train/tram station is Victoria and its on the 135 and 41 bus routes (amongst others). I’ll be there 2pm this Sunday 6th August.
Staying true to our psychogeographical routes we will drift together paying close attention to where, why and what we are. Our wander will be directed by some creative prompts and the desires of those who attend. As ever our rules are simple: take care of each other, yourself and our environment and don’t be an arse. Please be prompt as we don’t plan the route in advance so can’t promise where we will be. After around two hours we will find somewhere to rest, refresh ourselves and share travellers’ tales.
