Dear friends, comrades and fellow loiterers
Its First Sunday, This Sunday and so time for a wander with The LRM
This month we have a guest drift generator to guide us. Lydia will be a sharing her Wake Walk Bingo with us.
Here is Lydia’s invitation:
“The mission of Wake Walk Bingo is to use this bingo card to reflect on previous incarnations, to listen to messages from the past, to ponder strengths and weaknesses, to dig deep and find ways of coping, to find safe harbours and ways to harvest resilience.
A quest to envisage the new, to engage in time travel and to project into the next generation. An unexpected wander skirting the edges of the city, engaging with the subtle and unconventional, and being led by serendipity and creativity.”
You are very welcome to join us at 2pm this Sunday, March 1st at the Fairfield Street entrance to Piccadilly Station (downstairs near the Taxi rank).
I don’t know where Lydia’s prompt will lead us, that’s the joy of loitering, so please try to be on time. I believe we will initially be heading towards Mayfield Park so hopefully we won’t be too hard to find. I’m short with bright pink hair and won’t be moving swiftly.
The direction and pace of our drift will be decided collectively, inclusive of all who loiter with us. As ever we follow the rules of The LRM: Take care of yourself, each other and the places we move through. And don’t be an arse.

Our walks are always free, because we believe the streets should belong to everyone. If you would like a brief introduction to some of the reasons The LRM believe in critical, creative and convivial collective walking I’ve just written this for The Conversation: https://tinyurl.com/2rpbwtum
I hope to see you on the streets soon
With love and golden apples
